Visiting Vietnam requires a visa entry and it is issued free of charge to Algerian citizens. You can contact the Embassy of Vietnam in Algeria at the following:

A passport with at least a validity of six months is also required. Make sure to photocopy the first pages of the passport containing your information and the entry visa and keep photocopies preferably on the cloud (email box). The photocopy can be useful in case of loss or theft of your passport.

Avoid walking with a large amount of money on you because almost all business establishments in Vietnam accept in addition to cash, international bank cards and ATMs, foreign exchange offices and banking institutions are widely available.

To communicate with your relatives in Algeria, phone calls are relatively expensive. Choose instead an internet package when buying a Vietnamese SIM card and use an OTT service.

For your health, consult a doctor before you leave, especially if you suffer from an allergy or a chronic disease that require special attention. Be sure to prepare a small medical kit for the first emergencies.

To avoid the risk of infectious diseases that exist in Vietnam, it is advisable to get in touch with the Pasteur Institute of Algeria to prescribe, if necessary, the necessary vaccines.
