Marital status
The consular service of the Embassy of Algeria in Vietnam is entitled to record and issue the civil status documents to the Algerian nationals residing in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. These acts can be recorded on the embassy’s civil status book at the request of registered person, or a member of his/her family if he/she is deceased. These acts related to the following events:
- Marriages
- Births
- Death.
It is worthy to note that the registration of civil status acts on the Embassy's civil status books gives the advantage to be issued civil status acts by the Embassy's consular section as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Algiers (General Department for Consular Affairs)..
The applicant shoul to provide:
A-for the record of a marriage:
- The original of the act or the certificate of marriage,
- A birth certificate of the spouse, if the latter is not yet registered.
- The payment of the fiscal stamp for the establishment of a family record book. (Please contact the embassy’s consular service)
B-for the record of a birth:
- The original copy of the birth certificate and the family record book (click here to download the form)
C-for the record of a death:
- A death certificate issued by municipality of the death’s place.
D-Certificate of non-marriage:
The presence of the person concerned is mandatory. They must have:
- The registration card.
- A full copy of the birth certificate issued less than three (03) months ago, issued by the municipality of birth, with all marginal notes (none for single persons, if applicable, uncrossed out and unencrypted), plus a photocopy.
- An Algerian identity document (passport, consular card, or Algerian national identity card) plus a photocopy.
- Two witnesses registered with the consulate, each with their registration cards, passports, or Algerian national identity cards.
Important:
This document is issued under the responsibility of the witnesses, who are responsible for their actions.
